Camp MVP: Brooklyn Love Class of 2032 (Blissfield)
Brooklyn is a tough guard who is highly skilled and aggressive. Her work ethic definitely showed in the stations. She was constantly going hard and pushing her group. She has a nice handle and can control the pace of the game. She also knocked down many mid range and 3’s off the dribble. Brooklyn will be stepping into a long line of great guards from Blissfield.
Anna Thomas Class of 2031 (Madison)
Anna is one of the top players in her class. A physical guard who does not only score at will but creates for others. She has a great mid range game into footwork to finish around the rim. She used her length to disrupt passing lines in the 4v4 games. Anna is going to be one of the better guards to come out of Madison and we can’t wait to see her game grow!
Lily Pliska Class of 2031 (Onsted)
Lily is a great example of a girl who just keeps working and getting better. She is a tough physical post player who uses a nice drop step to get to the basket. She rebounds at a high level and is also using her length on defense. Lily has a chance to be a force in the coming years. Excited to see her take that next step!
Izzy Perez Class of 2032 (Lumen Christi)
Izzy is a tough guard who uses her speed and physically to her advantage. She is a girl who you can tell is in the gym often with her feel for the game. She can be an elite defender and a great 2-way guard in the future. Once she gets her shot down more consistently, it’s game over!
Karis Brogan Class of 2031 (Onsted)
Karis is starting to develop her game more each year. She is a great 3 point shooter who is not afraid to take big shots. She is sneaky quick with the ball and finishes well using her pivots. Once she adds her ability to pressure the ball she will be a tough defender as well. Tons of potential for Karis and I know she will stay in the gym to earn her success.
Skylar Stuart Class of 2031 (Dundee)
Sky is a high level athlete who uses her speed and athleticism to her advantage. She is most known for her lockdown defense, getting steals and rebounds all around the floor. She is able to create offense by finishing high above defenders. Once she adds shooting from the mid range and 3, she will be unstoppable.
Rory LaVoy Class of 2033 (Tecumseh)
Rory is a quick and explosive guard. She uses her speed and change of direction to go past defenders and finish. Once she adds some consistency to her outside shooting she will be a player to look for in the coming years!
Cora Salenbien Class of 2033 (Adrian)
Cora is a strong and smart basketball player. She is often making the right decision with the basketball. Once she adds her outside shooting touch she will be force.
Cataleya Tillman Class of 2031 (Madison)
Cat is a quick and effective guard. She reads the floor well and finishes with either hand. Just needs to work on getting her arch higher for outside shots. Pesky defender who created many turnovers in live play.
McKenzie Dickinson Class of 2031 (Onsted)
McKenzie has shown major growth in her game over the last year. She uses her length to finish above defenders and made a couple 3’s today in live play! Lots of potential if she can add more physicality to her game.
Blakely Boehmer Class of 2031 (Adrian)
Blakely is most known for her ability to knockdown open jump shots and that’s what she did today. She is a quick and physical defender who is not afraid to get in the mix.
Elliana Funchion Class of 2031 (Tecumseh)
Elliana is a solid overall player who can do a little of everything. She is strong with the ball and does a great job of finding the open space for driving or passing opportunities. Once she can add some consistent outside shooting she will no doubt have an impact at the HS level.
Maddy Cherfan Class of 2033 (LCS)
Maddy is a long and athletic player who can finish at the rim over her defenders. She also has a solid outside shot and made several in live play. Lots of upside for Maddy!
Ally Thomas Class of 2033 (Madison)
Ally is a quick and physical guard who plays well in space. She was able to use change of speed moves in transition to go score and made some floaters.
Casie Parker Class of 2031 (Adrian)
Casie is a high energy player who uses her speed to her advantage. She was all over getting steals and rebounds and always sprinted the floor for easy buckets.
